“ I discovered the Last Outpost by luck, having reported the death of my father with my sister and made arrangements, I walked past and see the sign happy hour, I walked in had a beer, a Tuesday afternoon, yes it was quiet, but I felt comfortable, that comfortable that I asked if it was possible to hire the place for the wake, the chairs were comfortable, toilets clean, within a couple of days we had spoke to Azeem and the Chef, they tailored a menu to suit us, and believe me a Wake that was such a cross section of age and dietary tastes. The food was absolutely amazing we over catered, the hot menu was a fantastic with vegetarian choices and the sauces absolutely were fantastic. Our guests were going back two and three times. Although we had a lot of non drinkers they were looked after so well, the bar staff could not have been more helpful, even allowing our playlist of our Dads favourite songs. We did not have to do a single thing except turn up and leave, I have can only thank everyone involved again, such a stressful time losing our Dad but this gave him the send off he deserved. Everything I've tried here so far has been really good and great value, and the beer garden out the front is a nice addition. It's never too busy which is a shame as it deserves to be more popular than it is! Highly recommended. ”

As an Asian it's difficult to find a lot of dishes broth- or stew-base here, and I am so happy to just passed by this restaurant and gave it a try. The lager draught tastes very nice too. I think I will come back even I am not living in this neighbourhood in future (just arrived and will stay for 3 nights only, but I would/should come back for the food and beer!!) ”
“ My experience at last outpost was absolutely amazing. I was greeted a very handsome young man (Lucas) who served me as soon as I got through the door. He was also the bartender and served me some tantalising drinks or two. Overall, it was absolutely astonishing experience and I believe that the bartender was great at his job. ”
“ It was empty when we showed up, and comfortably busy by the time we left. We were immediately seated and exchanged pleasantries and jokes with the front of house, who were both well presented, friendly, attentive and polite. Our drinks came quickly and food not long after. The food surprised us as some of the best vegetarian sunday nut roast (14-15 or thereabouts) we've had in a long while and the roast Sunday roast (15-16) was also excellent. The portion sizes were just right, and everything was cooked to perfection. The beef roast was very generously layered or the price, having been served with multiple slices of beef. Everything was wonderfully seasoned, the gravy had the ideal texture and came with the perfect amount needed. Overall this was a great place to get a Sunday lunch at, and for the quality the price was a steal. and I would heartily recommend it to anyone! Thank you :) ”
